In order to high-step march, Blue Band marchers must raise their thigh to be parallel with, extend their calf to be perpendicular to, and point the toe directly at the ground. The trumpet is one of the oldest musical instruments. Those of us who don’t play trumpet assume that all you do is blow into it.
