Old Main as we now know it sits on the original footprint of “The Main Building”. Old Main was rebuilt in 1930 using some of the original limestone.

The Palmer Museum of Art was opened on Sunday October 7, 1972. The current face of the Palmer is from a renovation that took place in 1993. Another PSU tradition! The “S-zone” is created because The Pennsylvania State University Lion Ambassadors give the students white and blue t-shirts so they can create the “S” in the senior student section. The “S-zone” was moved from the 20 yard line to its current location at the beginning of the 2011 football season, as the student section was shifted over to between the 10 yard lines. Photographer Steve Manuel has captured the passion and spirit shown by the “S-zone” students.
