The First Lion Mascot

$65.00$215.00

This photograph is a little bit of history. This is the first Nittany Lion Mascot with football coach Hugo Bezdek. The Nittany Lion Mascot was created by Harrison D. Mason when on the spot he made up the story of the mascot while at an away game at Princeton. According to Mason, The Lions were going to beat the Princeton Bengals with their strong right arms – which is now exemplified by the Nittany Lion Mascot whe he does his infamous one armed push ups!

Unframed images come in a white mat and are shrink wrapped for protection. Each framed image includes double mats, glass, and your choice of a black, mahogany, cherry, or walnut frame.
