Currently, the Drum Major Flip occurs twice under the current Blue Band pre-game drill. Blue Band Drum Majors have been ‘flipping’ for Penn State since 1971. Penn State 2 – Old Main, stands as a testament to tradition. The steps of Old Main are home to pep rallies and presidential visits.
