Old Main Frame Shop & Gallery has served the State College community, Penn State University, and the Center Region for nearly 50 years. We serve the framing needs of all Penn State graduates, wherever they reside. Our customers have come to expect our quality framing, creative design and personal attention to each framing project. Our motto is “frame it, display it, enjoy it.”
Old Main Frame Shop is a full service art gallery; representing local and national artists, exhibiting an extensive collection of local scenes, an expansive portfolio of many genres and mediums. Old Main Frame Shop hosts the largest selection of Penn State campus and athletic memorabilia.

We offer comprehensive framing and consultation services for both the corporate and residential client. Our framing expertise is second to none. With 30 years of experience behind us, we always bring creative design ideas and imaginative results to every framing project.
Old Main Frame Shop inventories thousands of moulding and mat samples to expertly complete your custom framing order. We use conservation and museum quality products to complete your project. Your project is just as valuable as any that is hanging in the Louvre. All framing is done on site by our Certified Professional Picture Framer staff. Your framing project never leaves our store. Whether you’ve entrusted us with a poster or a family heirloom, we treat your project with utmost respect and care.
In addition to our award winning framing, we offer photo finishing, archival restoration, in-home / office consultation, delivery, and hanging. Photo finishing services are a one stop convenience, including scanning, enlargements, Photoshop touch-ups and printing either on paper or canvas. Mural services are available by contacting our staff for information.
Old Main Frame Shop’s conservation / restoration department includes addressing problems related to acid burn and staining, foxing, tape and adhesive removal, the repair of tears, cracks. Our expertise extends to prints including pastels, photographs, magazines, maps and collectibles. For further information on this service please contact the restoration staff.
